After a very long wait for us Saint Johners, we finally have an H&M store at our local mall. I did not brave the crowds for opening day but yesterday when I knew it would be a lot less busy, I stopped by to check it out.
I did not buy anything (although there was lots of great stuff). I am in full Christmas shopping mode right now and every last cent is going towards that until it is done however; I found cute mix and match outfit options for great prices!
I picked out a pair of pants, 3 tops, and a tank top and the total was under $80. The tank was a basic black for $6.99 and the pants were black texture drawstring harem pant for $19.99. I wore the pants and tank with all three outfits. The pants were super comfy, like wearing dress-up sweatpants. I’ll be going back for these. The mustard blouse stood out to me for fall. It was $24.99 and would be perfect with black leggings and tall brown leather boots too.
They had these super cute blouses in multiple patterns for only $12.99!!! It went perfectly with the black harem pants. This outfit totalled $39.97(plus tax) with the black tank. It felt like I was wearing pyjamas. This is true “mom style” cute and comfy!
This tee had my name written all over it. Yup, I love me some burger and fries. It was cropped but long enough to tuck in the front. It was $14.99. I could see wearing this around the house or running errands. I thought this tee would also look cute with a white button up blouse underneath and some black leggings. All three outfits for under $80 and most importantly: everything fit well and was comfy and easy to move in which is important for a Mom of two young kiddos.
I also fell in love with this jacket. It was $59.99 and also came in black and green. This may need to go on my list for Santa. It was comfy, warm, and most importantly had a hood, which is essential for maritime winters. I loved that it wasn’t bulky feeling.
I had a great time window shopping at H&M and can’t wait to go back and actually buy. There is so much more there than just this, so check it out. I have been shopping in outfits like this, and have found it so much easier. It gives me a variety of full outfit options because having thirty tops and two pairs of pants just doesn’t work out.
The entire experience was fun. The dressing rooms are well lit and the staff super friendly. I am not someone that loves trying things on but wanted to make sure I got my sizing right so next time I don’t have to. I hope you enjoyed my “mom style” and outfit ideas.
Stop back on Friday to get Happy with me before the weekend!
